The Federal Government’s intensified nationwide operations rely on several core adjustments to the country’s security architecture:

• Operation Savannah Shield: A major joint-force deployment targeting vulnerable communities and flushing out insurgent hideouts, particularly across the North Central axis (including Kwara, Plateau, Benue, and Niger states).
• Massive Personnel Recruitment: In an effort to rapidly scale up “boots on the ground,” the President authorized the recruitment of thousands of new personnel into the Nigeria Police Force and the Armed Forces, utilizing several NYSC camps as immediate training depots.
