The internet has been set ablaze following the sudden emergence of viral wedding videos featuring controversial content creator and self-styled relationship commentator, Emmanuel Obruste, popularly known as Geh Geh.

Known across social media platforms for advising young men to stay single, preach against marriage, and advocate for having baby mamas instead, the “Anti-Marriage Minister” appears to have officially surrendered to love in a low-key traditional ceremony.

In the viral clips circulating across TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram, Geh Geh was spotted alongside his bride, identified as Mary, dressed in matching wine-coloured/burgundy traditional outfits.

The couple was seen cutting a wedding cake, dancing, and posing for photographs surrounded by close friends and family members. Event details on invitation cards displayed in the videos showed the traditional marriage ceremony taking place over the weekend.

As “disciples” of his online school reacted with shock and accused him of betrayal, Geh Geh quickly took to his X account to offer a defense that has only fueled more internet “vawulence.”

Initially, he posted one of the clips with the caption:

“So I no fit represent my brother wey dey abroad?”

When fans refused to buy the proxy-wedding story, he fired back at critics demanding proof that he ever warned anyone against marriage:

“I never for once told y’all not to get married. Did I? If yes, show me a video of me telling you not to marry,” he wrote.

“Nigerians really don’t understand how social media works. If you know how to use it properly, you will never lack.”

Adding more drama to the saga, a netizen identified as Geh Geh’s former manager came forward in a trending video claiming the wedding is 100% real.

The former manager alleged that he abandoned his own 3-year-old marriage after listening to Geh Geh’s anti-marriage preachings, only to be “backstabbed” when his boss secretly tied the knot.

“I listened to him, fought with my wife who I’ve been married to for three years, and left my marriage, only for him to betray me by getting married,” the ex-manager lamented.
