Davido Claps Back at Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo After He Mocked Gov Ademola Adeleke’s Dancing

Afrobeats star Davido has once again shown that he does not play when it comes to defending his family. Hours after Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, took jabs at Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his signature dance moves, OBO delivered a sharp online clapback targeting the Edo governor.

The drama unfolded during an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally ahead of the Osun State governorship election. While addressing supporters, Governor Okpebholo criticized Governor Adeleke’s leadership style, accusing him of prioritizing entertainment over governance.

Davido Delivers Savage Response Online

Never one to back down from political or online drama, Davido responded early Friday morning on social media.

Instead of an exchange of words, the Timeless hitmaker trolled the Edo governor by sharing an image alleged to be Governor Okpebholo’s West African Examinations Council (WAEC) result sheet, highlighting multiple poor grades including D7s and E8s.

Davido didn’t stop at social media shots. The Afrobeats superstar personally joined his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, and cousin Sina Rambo on stage during a roadshow campaign rally.

The crowd erupted into massive cheers as Governor Adeleke and Davido hit the stage together, dancing energetically to Davido’s hit track “Feel”.
