Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed a man identified as Ilabeshi Okhale and abducted his two kids into the bush.

The incident reportedly happened on December 11 at Kalabar Quarters, Afokpella, Etsako East Local Government, when gunmen forcibly broke into his residence, inflicted machete injuries on him and abducted his kids.

Edo state, like other parts of Nigeria, has experienced security challenges including armed robberies, kidnappings for ransom, and other violent crimes. Such incidents are deeply concerning for communities and authorities.
